Our Redeemer Lutheran Church offers many ways to get involved and meet people in the church. Whether you’re in to crafting, cooking, handyman work, or just about anything else, ORLC has a group for you and if you can’t find one you like, start one! Lutheran Women’s Missionary League

LWML equips women for mission and ministry through inspiration, service, and education. The LWML meets at 9:00 AM on the first Saturday of each month during the school year for fellowship, Bible study, and business. For more information, contact Terri Williams.

Holy Smokers

The Holy Smokers grill team get together to cook and serve the Congregation. They also serve in the community smoking meat and serving meals. For more information, contact Steve Marten.

Texas Ramp Project

The Ramp Team gets together as needed to build and install wheelchair ramps at individual houses to assists community members by making their houses more accessible. For more information, contact Steven Ulrick.

Pairs and Spares

Open to adults of all ages, this group meets monthly for a wide variety of activities including going to new restaurants, Bunco, seasonal parties, etc. Both couples (pairs) and singles (spares) are welcome and all are guaranteed to have a great time! Fellowship Committee

The Fellowship Committee is in charge of all the congregational parties. If party planning is your thing, this amazing group would love your help. They plan and organize the church-wide picnic and the Winter Blast annually along with various events throughout the year. For more information, contact Mary Twyford.

Partners in Education Team

ORLC has partnered with Jefferson Elementary through WFISD’s PIE Program. Through this program, volunteers help stock and organize Jefferson’s clothes closet, and work on various projects as a way to touch the lives of God’s children. Sassy Sewing Notions

The Sassy Sewing Notions is a sewing group that gets together for a weekend of sewing once a month in the Fellowship Hall. You can bring your own project or work on the planned project. Open to sewers of all experience levels. We even have extra machines to share. For more information, contact Jessica Hobert.

Highway Cleanup

This group provides an opportunity for people of all ages to put their faith into action as they care for God’s creation. The group meets quarterly to beautify a 2-mile stretch of Highway 79. For more information, contact Mark Snyder.

Midweek Kitchen Crew

The Midweek Kitchen Crew helps cook, serve and clean up the Midweek meal every Wednesday during the school year. You can help every week, once a month or whenever you’re available. For more information, contact Jessica Hobert.

Primetimers

Are you 60 or older? Do you want to hang out with others your age? Then Prime Timers is for you! This group meets monthly for fellowship meals, games, trips to museums, the theater, and just about any other fun activity.

Anna’s Legacy

A fellowship group for women whose spouses now reside in Heaven.
