Rev. Richard Jones, Vacancy Pastor
As our congregation awaits a new full-time pastor, Pastor Richard Jones will be commuting from McKinney, Texas to serve as our vacancy pastor.
Richard Jones graduated from Columbia International University, Columbia SC and married his wife, Brenda in 1982. They have three sons - Andrew, Nathaniel and Timothy who have blessed them with four grandchildren.
He graduated from Concordia Seminary (St. Louis) in 1991 and has served in four churches: Christ the King, Natchitoches LA (3 years), Concordia Lutheran, Nashville TN (5 years), Grace Lutheran, Mastic Beach NY (12 years) and Grace Lutheran By-the-Sea, Nags Head, NC (10 years). He has also worked with Sudanese immigrants ministry and other mission ministries. He enjoys preaching, conducting Bible studies, and teaching confirmation.
Richard and Brenda enjoy anything with water (swimming, water aerobics), taking their dog, Bruno, for walks, RVing, traveling and playing pickleball.
Michaela Seeliger, Director of Christian Education
Michaela joined Our Redeemer as the Director of Christian Education in 2017, after serving the church for a year as a Director of Christian Education Intern. She is a graduate of Concordia University in Austin, Texas. Michaela has a passion for teaching children about Jesus.
Linda Thorman, Director of Christian Growth
Linda has served as the Director of Christian Growth at Our Redeemer since 1981. She began her service to the church as organist and choir director in 1974, and has been a member of Our Redeemer since early childhood. She holds a degree in All Level Music Education from Midwestern State University. Linda is married to Glenn Thorman and has a son. Linda has a passion for people, music, and animals.
Terri Williams, Secretary
Terri not only serves as the church secretary but is also involved in many of Our Redeemer’s adult groups including Lutheran Women’s Missionary League, Altar Guild, Anna’s Legacy, and is a part of the Comfort Dog team. She has been a member of Our Redeemer since she was a child.
